Everyone wants to change the world. But how do you define real impact?
Do you define impact by the total number of followers or likes? Do you define impact by being invited to the right places with the right people? Or maybe you define impact by achievements, where your contribution to the world is measured in trophies or scores. If so, here’s a hard truth: trophies and likes can make an impact, but not truly matter.
Real impact happens when God works through us. And when we grasp this truth, the way we see our lives and the world around us changes. Camp 2021 will show us how much difference a life empowered by the Word can make; how Jesus is the power source for a life that matters; how God designed us to impact the world together; and how trusting in God’s plan is the key to real impact!
In the end, we can make an impact because He is Worthy of not just our hearts, but of our lives as well…

Who: Students who have completed 6-12 grade this past year
Price: $250 per student (CLICK HERE for scholarship requests)
Sibling discount: First student in a family is $250 and subsequent students are $225 each.

FAQ about Covid
Q: Will there be any testing for students to ensure that no one has COVID-19?
A: At the moment we don’t plan on doing any tests outside of asking all students to complete a Covid screening form at check-in (see above). Any student who’s exhibiting any symptoms (fever, exhaustion or other cold-like symptoms) will be be asked to stay home until they start to feel better. Any student who starts feeling ill at camp will be sent home. Refunds will be made accordingly.
Q: What about social distancing?
A: Lake Swan covers a large area so we won’t anticipate have any problems spreading out.
Q: What about masks?
A: We’re not requiring masks at this moment. We’ll be monitoring the Covid numbers in our area as we approach camp and will email you if there’s any changes.
FAQ about the Trip
Q: Do I have to fill out a new medical form?
A: Yes, unless you turned one in for DNOW 2021 or our Mission Trip this past June, we’re asking everyone to turn in new forms in light of COVID-19. Follow the links above for the forms. A notary will be available at the front office M-W from 12:30-4:30 and at check-in at camp.
Q: What if I have a doctor’s appointment (or something similar) the week of camp?
A: Good question, if possible find a way to move those appointments to another week. Part of camp is getting away from the world for a week to help you focus on you relationship with Christ and friendships with your friends. Leaving camp and coming back will not only get you out of the ‘mode’ of camp, but you’ll not only most likely miss out on some critical moments in camp but other students will also miss out on learning from you as well. Q: What about sports practice?
A: We love sports, but I also know the profound impact being a part of camp can be as well. In fact, our theme this year is all about living a life that has impact for Christ – a theme that you’ll be able to use to have a big impact on any sports team this upcoming year! Don’t assume it’s an all-or-nothing deal, most coaches will respect religious events. Go ahead and sign up now (even if you don’t know the summer sports schedule yet) and we’ll work with you to help you be a part of this life-changing week! (We also provide refunds if needed).
If nothing else, take to heart this statement about Scott Drew, the coach of the Baylor Bears Men’s basketball team and most recent NCAA National Champions: “Like every coach, Drew has a competitiveness and strong desire to win. But ultimately, he cares less about the wins and losses and more about his players growing closer to the Lord, and as young men. In 2017, he was quoted by LifeZette as saying, “… if any of these guys leave without knowing Christ, that would be the real loss.” … “Winning the game of life is lot more rewarding than a 40-minute basketball game that’s so temporary.”
