Dear Church Family,
Our new schedule is in full swing! Life Groups at 9:30am and the Worship Service is at 10:45am. The very first Sunday we added over 80 to our regular attendance! The Lord blesses when we are unified in our efforts to reach new people for Christ. I’m writing this article before our first Life Group Fellowship night, scheduled for October 4. Our groups are gathering together for fellowship and fun. This is a great opportunity to invite new folks to the church and to your life group.
We are excited to have Bob Tebow with us this Sunday, October 4 in our morning worship service. Bob and Pam are wonderful Christians and use their unique influence to reach people for Christ. You don’t want to miss this Sunday. Bring someone with you to hear Brother Tebow and bring them back to your Life Group Fellowship.
The College ministry is having their fall retreat October 23 -25. The Lord is powerfully at work in our College Ministry. Currently they are organized into 4 different Life Groups and meet in two community groups as well during the week. Matt Seitz is doing a wonderful job leading this work. So many of these college students will nail down lifelong commitments during these days.
Our youth ministry continues to flourish under the leadership of our Youth Leadership Team. Life Groups meet under the direction of capable teachers and leaders who love these students. Wednesday nights are exciting in the youth ministry. Our students are being discipled as they study scripture both on Sundays and Wednesdays. Look for students to bring and invite to the youth events. The Lord is at work in this awesome ministry.
A brand new Dinner Theater Choir is beginning soon to perform in our Christmas Dinner Theater! The first rehearsal is Sunday, October 11. Let me encourage every interested person to be involved in this wonderful ministry. We look forward to the excellent presentation of Christmas music at this unique event. If you have a heart for music, you will want to be a part of it.
Love Loud–North Central! We have several opportunities in November to reach out to others.
November 1st we participate in a Sunday emphasis sponsored by the Florida Baptist Children’s Home called Orphan Sunday. We are doing a diaper drive for the the Children’s Home and we will look at the unique ministries we can have with kids. Matt Seitz will be preaching on this day. I look forward to hearing him preach. Matt was adopted and has a personal perspective on the difference believers can make on kids.
November 8th is homecoming Sunday and our second Life Group Fellowship night. We can Love Loud by inviting a new friend to our fellowships.
November 15th is the day that we bring our Samaritan’s purse shoeboxes to the church. This is a way to Love the world by touching children overseas. Get your shoebox now and fill it with the items that will mean so much to someone who needs to know of God’s love.
What a blessing it is to be your Pastor. I hope you are enjoying our Sunday Morning Bible studies in 1 Peter called, “The Journey of Hope”. I certainly am enjoying digging into this precious book in God’s Word.
May the Lord show His power through you this week.
