Homecoming Sunday is October 17! Brandon Hicks, starting linebacker for the Florida Gators will be our guest on that day! Brandon is a fine Christian. He has been used of the Lord to speak to young people and adults through his involvement in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Brandon was one of the top recruits in 2007 when the Gators landed him from Forrest High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He has played in over 40 games as a Gator. Last year he started in 13 games and tied the team lead with 6 tackles in the Gators Sugar Bowl win over Cincinnati. He was also selected to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll in 2008. We are thrilled to have him with us on the 17th to share his testimony. I encourage you to bring someone with you on this special day.

On October 3rd in the 6pm service we will share with the church family our mission opportunities for 2011. There are many opportunities for our folks to be involved in Missions in Gainesville, North America, and worldwide. I know that we will be taking folks to Brazil and Malaysia/Hong Kong in 2011. Don’t miss this exciting service to hear about ways you can increase your involvement as a Great Commission Christian.

Let me ask you to continue to be in prayer for our building process. We will be presenting two committees to the church for approval in October. We will have a Building Committee and a Fund Raising Committee. Please be praying that we find the will of the Lord Jesus in the entire process of expanding our facility to reach more for Christ.

I’m still rejoicing over the success of our 75th Anniversary Celebration. I want you to know that you can go online and see a presentation of North Central’s history. You can access the video at this web address: http://vimeo.com/15332645

I know that this will be a blessing to so many of you and the friends of North Central.

God Bless you. It is a joy to be your Pastor.
