March is a Busy and Fantastic Month!

These are days of new opportunities for our wonderful church family. Beginning March 17th we have a new Worship Service time of 10am. North Central has always been willing to try new things to reach new people for Christ. One project recently accomplished was the building of our new educational building. Now we are completing the elimination of the interim financing.

With this change in Worship Service time we have the opportunity to double our classroom space by offering two Bible Study hours. The 8:15am Sunday School will move to 9am and the 10:55am Sunday School will move to 11:15am. We will have classes for every division in both hours so take a look at your family schedule and make your choice. We are looking to begin new classes to fill up the freed up space during both hours as well.

The International Mission Board of  the Southern Baptist Convention is coming to North Central on April 13 for a Cross Cultural Missions training and Church Planting event. I hope that all in our church family will participate in this wonderful training. Mike and Kathy Weaver will be here and will talk to us about the possibility of engaging an unreached people group in the Americas region of the world where they head this work. This is a significant event for us to host and we are honored that our IMB is coming to NCBC.

Be on the lookout for folks to invite to worship with you on Easter Sunday, March 31. Many opportunities come up to witness for Jesus during the Easter season and I encourage you to share Christ with everyone possible. Invite them to worship with us on Easter. The music will be Jesus centered and the message will be Bible based.

Congratulations to Aaron Sanford who celebrates his first anniversary on our set up team. We are proud of Aaron. He has heart for the Lord and is very capable in his job here. Our set up team is crucial to our success as we schedule many ministry events each week.

What a joy to watch the Lord work in our fellowship. I’m writing this article on a Monday after spending time with our NCBC 101 class yesterday. The class was a great success and allowed us to answer many questions for folks about our church. The quality of the folks in attendance and their interest in the things of the Lord highlights our responsibility to remain faithful to the task of reaching people for Jesus Christ. I am honored to be your Pastor.
